Clitoria Ternaten is otherwise known as Butterfly Pea Tea. It is cultivated mainly in Asia, although it comes from Africa. It is a naturally growing tropical plant. It has a characteristic herbal taste and aroma that is extremely delicate and even velvety to the palate. These flowers are naturally blue and after pouring hot water on them give a turquoise infusion.
