White pepper is a variety of grains of the same plant from which the most famous and widespread black pepper is obtained. It differs from it in the method of processing – the grains are soaked and deprived of the outer shell, then they are dried and crushed to varying degrees or packed whole. The white variety of pepper is characterized by an intense, stimulating aroma, with sometimes slightly lemon notes. However, its taste is milder than in the case of black or green pepper.
